Family Eyecare at the Lake of the Ozarks is looking for an additional optometrist to join our team. Come practice and play in the midwest's premier lake resort area. Family Eyecare is a 4 location private practice that has served the Lake of the Ozarks area for over 30 years. We have been blessed to have large growth at our practices. We are looking for a part-time or full-time optometrist. The salary will be based on production.

Our offices have state-of-art equipment to help you give the best care possible to your patients. We have Optos, OCT, AdaptDx, virtual VF, and Lipiflow.

The Lake of the Ozarks boasts some of the best outdoor activities in the Midwest including boating, fishing, golfing, shopping, and more.

Sunshine Eye Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Optometrist

Sunshine Eye Clinic has been serving the Ozarks for 55 years. We have a newly renovated facility with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that enables us to provide outstanding care for our patients.

Optometrist Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation
  • Diagnose and treat ocular disease
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
  • Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options
  • Coordination of care and co-management with local Ophthalmologist
  • Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues
  • Community minded with outstanding customer service through all patient interactions

Work Hours & Benefits
This is a full-time opportunity to work 4 or 5 days per week.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday and closed on weekends.

Optometrist Qualifications/Skills:

  • Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • General computer proficiency
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
  • Active Missouri optometry license
