2026 MOA FRIEND OF OPTOMETRY

Eligibility Criteria:

1. This nominee may be an individual or entity who has demonstrated a sincere commitment to the profession of Optometry in Missouri. Activities beyond the local and state level will be considered.
2.  The nominee must be nominated by an individual MOA member or an optometric society.

Procedure:

1. Nominations must be submitted online.
2. Supplemental information (letters of recommendation, curricula vitae) may be uploaded.
3. Nomination of a nominee in any given year does not preclude future nominations of the same nominee.
4. Completed nomination forms must be received by the MOA by September 1st.
5. The MOA Friend of Optometry Award will be presented at the annual MOA convention.
6. In the event that a suitable nominee is not selected by the judging committee, no award will be given that year.
